Building You Own Drawloom
Draw looms come in three varieties: shaft draw, single unit draw, and saved lashes. But what if you can't decide which kind you want? How would you like to have all three types in one loom? This seminar will give you detailed information and measurements to turn a simple countermarch loom into a draw loom with all three draw possibilities, and one on which the three types can be used all at the same time.
This conversion can be accomplished, typically, without making structural modifications to the base countermarch loom and with only the addition of 4 drilled screw holes. Materials and sources will also be discussed.
The goal of this seminar is to give you the information needed to convert your own loom with simple tools such as a drill, a saw, screw drivers, a wrench, etc.
